Minister Vučević visits Republic of North Macedonia
Representing the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević is paying a two-day visit to the Republic of North Macedonia, where he will attend the St. Sava Day celebration - the national holiday of the Serbs living in the Republic of North Macedonia.
At the beginning of the visit, Minister Vučević and the mayor of Kumanovo Maksim Dimitrievski visited the "Karpoš" Elementary School in the village of Umin Dol in the municipality of Kumanovo, where he met with and talked to the students of that school who attend classes in "Language and Culture of the Serbs".
On that occasion, Minister Vučević emphasized the importance of providing support to the Serbian community in the Republic of North Macedonia in preserving its spiritual, national and cultural identity.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of North Macedonia, Nevena Jovanović, joined the minister on his visit.
Later today, the Minister of Defence will visit the Kumanovo Cultural Club "Srpski Vez", and tonight, he will attend as part of the Serbian MOD delegation the celebration of St. Sava Day – the national holiday of the Serbs living in the Republic of North Macedonia at Zanaetciski Dom in Kumanovo.
Tomorrow, Minister Vučević will have meetings with the Minister of Defence of the Republic of North Macedonia, Slavjanka Petrovska, and Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski.
