Training in MP units



Professional personnel are currently undergoing training in counter-terrorism combat actions in the Army MP Battalions.
  Since these actions are the most complex assignments the SAF MP units can be tasked with, special attention is paid to training, which is very complex and demanding. The aim is to provide military policemen and units with sufficient skills so that they can successfully perform high-risk counter-terrorism assignments.

During the training, which is conducted on training grounds and exercise areas for several days, MP units practice the tactics, techniques and procedures applied in blockading and destroying a terrorist group, from collecting intelligence to a successful accomplishment of the task using manpower, working dogs and special vehicles.
  This type of training increases the combat ability of MP units, which are specially equipped and skilled to carry out a wide range of MP missions and general-security assignments in the MOD and SAF.
