Future NCOs’ leadership development



The 34th Leadership Course is underway at the Pančevo-based "Sergeant Milunka Savić" NCO Training Centre. The course is being attended by professional soldiers selected from all SAF units.
  This is the first level of the six-week course for professional soldiers preparing for their NCO duties in the Serbian Armed Forces. The course aims to teach them how to properly and effectively command a group, crew or team and perform tasks falling within the competence of a deputy squad leader.
 
The Leadership Course program encompasses theoretical instruction and practical lessons in various fields such as leadership, service regulations, military topography, close order drill, tactical, weapons and physical training, so that participants can gain sufficient knowledge to perform their initial NCO roles.
  Professional soldiers who successfully complete this course become eligible for referral to the Basic NCO Course. Upon completion of Basic NCO Course, the soldiers will be promoted to the rank of sergeant and join the Serbian Armed Forces’ NCO Corps.
