Military Academy cadet, Pavle Milošević, wins Epiphany Cross Dive
The fourth-year Military Academy cadet, Pavle Milošević, is the winner of this year’s traditional Epiphany Cross Dive, which was held at Belgrade’s Ada Ciganlija Lake today.
At this year’s 25th contest, Cadet Milošević beat fifty other competitors swimming the 33-metre course, the length of which symbolizes Jesus’ age when he died.
The event began with the Holy Liturgy and the Epiphany procession from St. George’s Church in Banovo Brdo, past the Sava Embankment to Ada Ciganlija, where the Prayer on the Lake was held. Twenty cadets of the Military Academy participated in the procession.
