Soldiers doing military service take basic training test
This week, soldiers of the December 2022 intake doing voluntary military service have taken a basic individual training test in SAF’s Sombor, Valjevo and Leskovac Training Centres.
This was the first test taken by this generation, aiming to assess the soldiers’ ability to independently perform tactical actions and procedures on the battlefield, properly handle weapons and military equipment and provide internal security and facilities protection. During the two-day testing, the soldiers carried out various tactical missions, using the knowledge and skills acquired during the first phase of their training. The scores they achieved show that the soldiers have completely mastered the training content, which also shows that the training had been well planned and implemented.
The next step in their military service is their transfer to specialized training centres, where they will undergo advanced training in their MOS fields. This will be followed by collective training and their active involvement in day to day activities of SAF units.
