New Year’s Greetings from Minister of Defence
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević has sent a New Year’s message, which reads as follows:
“Dear citizens of Serbia, We say goodbye to a year that has brought challenges, a year full of uncertainty, which has strengthened our belief that only strong and capable armed forces can be an absolute guarantee of our freedom and independence.
Members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces are aware of the responsibility of their role and the great trust the citizens of our country place in them. That is why we have worked hard and shown great dedication in 2022, we have trained and equipped ourselves, strengthened and grown into a strong bulwark against all bad intentions towards the Republic of Serbia.
I believe in the bright future of our country, which is based on young generations’ knowledge, work and a sense of responsibility. The strength of our science and economy lies in the youth. The strength of our defence also lies in the youth.
Dear fellow citizens,
On New Year's Eve, many members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces will be on duty protecting our peace. Wish them strength and determination in performing their noble task.
May 2023 bring health and progress to all of you and peace, development and prosperity to Serbia!
