Communiqué
All members of the Serbian Armed Forces deployed in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) are doing well and continue to perform regular tasks in accordance with the mandate of the mission.
During yesterday's incident in which one member of the U.N. force was killed, members of the Serbian Armed Forces were not harmed in any way.
The Serbian Armed Forces General Staff monitors the situation in this and all other peacekeeping operations where members of the Serbian Armed Forces are deployed and takes measures to protect our soldiers, officers, NCOs and civilians.
