Minister Vučević visits units in Raška and Novi Pazar
Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević, accompanied by Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Lieutenant General Petar Cvetković, visited SAF units in Raška and Novi Pazar garrisons. On that occasion, Minister Vučević said that the Serbian Armed Forces did not want any conflicts, but that they were ready to fulfil every order issued by the Supreme Commander and protect our country and all its citizens.
After visiting the units and talking to the members of the Serbian Armed Forces in “Stefan Nemanja“ barracks in Raška and “Rifat Burdžević – Tršo“ barracks in Novi Pazar, Minister Vučević concluded that they were well-equipped and highly trained.
- Having talked to the officers and soldiers, I have been assured and received confirmation that the Serbian Armed Forces are ready to carry out every task assigned to them by the Supreme Commander in order to protect the integrity of our country, the sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia and all its citizens – said Minister Vučević.
According to him, the political leadership will do everything in their power to preserve peace and stability, but the Serbian Armed Forces are the most powerful and effective deterrent against those who do not have benevolent intentions or goals towards our country.
- The Serbian Armed Forces are keeping all citizens of Serbia safe. Have trust in our armed forces! Our armed forces do not want any conflicts or wars, but they are ready to protect our country and all its citizens – said Vučević.
