Regular Flying Training on H-145M Helicopters
Regular training of members of 98th Air Brigade for the execution of flying tasks on helicopters H-1456M is being conducted at the military airfield “Sergeant-Pilot Mihajlo Petrović” and wider territory of the town of Niš.
The training is carried out aimed at maintaining and raising the level of competence for the execution of assigned tasks, both in favourable and in complex weather conditions, by day and night, and it is intended for the pilots of 119th Mixed Helicopter Squadron.
In line with the training programme, in this period, the pilots practice the techniques and procedures applied for landing outside airfields, and take-off from unsecured terrain, flying in low flight zones, and the execution of reconnaissance and terrain survey in poor visibility conditions, with gusts of wind and rain, which make the execution of tasks more difficult.
Technical element of the squadron is actively involved in the training, whose expertise and professionalism are the key for the serviceability of the aircraft and their availability for flights.
The realisation of the training in helicopter squadrons of the Serbian Armed Forces, which is carried out in cycles throughout the year, enables the supreme competence of professional personnel and their readiness to execute the tasks of reconnaissance, search and rescue, air transport and provision of air fire support to other forces while executing their operations.
