Minister Vučević Signs Book of Condolence for Jiang Zemin
Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević signed the Book of Condolence opened in the Embassy of the People's Republic of China following the death of former President of China Jiang Zemin.
“Former President of PR China and Secretary-General of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Jiang Zemin has left an indelible mark in modern history of this great state, and of entire world.
He led the People’s Republic of China in a wise and composed manner in a rather turbulent period.
With his wisdom and courage, he managed to get back age-old territories of Chines people, Hong Kong and Macau, in the frame of the motherland.
He indebted the new generations not only of PR China, but all over the world, and all those who appreciate history and respect justice and equality.
May the friendship of steel between the People’s Republic of China and our fatherland, Serbia, last forever”, Minister Vučević wrote.
