Soldiers’ performance assessed
Performance assessment has been carried out for soldiers doing voluntary military service (September 2022 intake) following their individual specialized training.
The assessment was carried out following a six-week specialized training during which the soldiers had been taught to carry out combat actions as part of a crew or a team, and to execute their branch/service-specific assignments.
During the two-day skills assessment, the soldiers carried out tactical and fire missions demonstrating the acquired knowledge and skills in using personal and collective weapons, combat assets and military equipment. Very good and excellent marks earned by the soldiers are proof of the good quality of training and high motivation of this generation of soldiers for performing military service.
Soldiers will now be referred to SAF units to receive collective training over the next three months until the end of their military service, engaging actively in the execution of daily tasks in their units alongside professional members.
