Meeting between Minister Vučević and U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević met with the U.S. Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs, Celeste Wallander, today.
Minister Vučević emphasized that there was an upward trend in bilateral relations between the two countries, that both sides had expressed their intention to continue and deepen defence cooperation, and that the Ministry of Defence valued greatly the cooperation so far in joint military training, as well as U.S. donations.
Assistant Secretary of Defense Wallander expressed hope that Serbia and the United States would boost cooperation in all areas of mutual interest in the upcoming period.
