98th Air Brigade Day marked
A military ceremony was held at the "Morava" military airfield near Kraljevo today, to mark the 98th Air Brigade Day, which is celebrated in memory of November 28, 1949, when the 98th Fighter-Bomber Aviation Regiment was established.
As part of the ceremony, results achieved over the past year were reviewed and awards were presented to the best individuals. Following this, wreaths and flowers were laid at the memorial located on the airfield.The holiday was an opportunity to emphasize the professionalism, dedication and competence of members of the 98th Air Brigade and their contribution to the development of overall capabilities of the Air Force and Air Defence.
Today’s ceremony was attended by Air Force and Air Defence Commander, Lieutenant General Duško Žarković, representatives from SAF units, Serbian Orthodox Church, local self-government bodies and institutions this Brigade cooperates with.
