Army scouts undergo tactical training
Members of the 1st Army Brigade’s reconnaissance units have undergone a diverse tactical training program in conducting special actions outside their peacetime dispositions.
Professional members of reconnaissance units undergo this important training segment throughout the year so as to improve their skills in performing unit-specific tasks. For several days, the scouts practiced performing tactical actions and procedures used during observation and data gathering, as well as organizing scout patrols, surprise raids and ambushes in different weather conditions and across complex terrain.
The reconnaissance units’ routine training is diverse and demanding and it aims to teach scouts to respond promptly and efficiently to situations they might encounter while performing tasks in the depth of the enemy force’s dispositions. That is the best way to maintain a high level of physical fitness and mental stability, as well as the ability to successfully handle the most difficult situations.
