Serbian Armed Forces shoot down drone in broader region of Kopaonik
Under the orders from the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić, the Serbian Armed Forces are taking stronger measures to detect, track and neutralize unmanned vehicles in the vicinity of military facilities.
This afternoon, the Serbian Armed Forces units detected, tracked and neutralized a commercial drone that was flying from the direction of Kopaonik towards Raška. The drone was brought down using electronic jamming in the immediate vicinity of military facilities in the garrison of Raška.
In accordance with the President’s orders, the Serbian Armed Forces will continue to shoot down all drones flying in the no-fly zone and in the vicinity of military facilities.
