Drills in special air operations and anti-tank combat



Special Forces, in cooperation with the Air Force and Air Defence helicopter units are practicing air-to-ground operations at the "Pasuljanske Livade" training ground.
  The aim of the activities that are part of Joint Exercise Manoeuvres 2022, is to increase the capability of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade and the 63rd Parachute Brigade for carrying out special tasks assigned to these units.

During the exercise, Special Forces combat teams perform tactical tasks and handle exercise incidents on the move, practice helicopter landing and combat actions after the landing during both daytime and night-time, and execute live firings using personal and collective weapons.
  Simultaneously, the troops that have moved on to the active phase of Joint Exercise Manoeuvres 2022 continue with tactical and live fire drills on the permanent and temporary training grounds of the Serbian Armed Forces. Today, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, visited the members of the First Army Brigade, who are conducting drills in anti-tank combat on the "Orešac" training ground near Vršac.
During his visit, Chief of the General Staff expressed his satisfaction with the committed attitude and high motivation of both professional and reserve personnel, emphasizing that only truly dedicated, highly trained and well-prepared soldiers and officers can complete all tasks assigned to them by the state and military leadership, and thus ensure peace and security for citizens of the Republic of Serbia.
