72nd Special Operations Brigade conducts tactical drills
The 72nd Special Operations Brigade units, which have moved on to the active phase of Joint Exercise "Manoeuvres 2022", are conducting tactical drills and live firings at several locations outside their peacetime stations.
With the support of AF and AD helicopter units, the Brigade’s combat teams are performing their tasks on the move, practicing the execution of special actions in a counter-terrorism operation.In line with the assigned mission, the units are practicing the tactics, techniques and procedures employed in day and night helicopter landings, search of the terrain and destruction of terrorist groups in fortified facilities, which adds to the unit’s overall capability for carrying out special actions independently or in cooperation with other SAF forces.
The complex exercise activities carried out by the combat teams of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade are part of Joint Exercise "Manoeuvres 2022", which some SAF units are conducting together, aiming to increase their capability to respond to challenges, risks and threats to the security of the Republic of Serbia.
