Intensive activities at Joint Exercise Manoeuvres 2022
Having completed the activities at their home stations, some SAF units have moved on to the active phase of Joint Exercise “Manoeuvres 2022”, continuing with their drills on permanent and temporary training grounds.
As part of the active phase of the exercise, the deployed SAF forces have marched to the exercise areas, displacing the command posts and fire positions and carrying out a variety of tactical missions on the move. Later on, units of different arms, branches and services will conduct joint tactical drills and live fire tactical exercises.
Some of the SAF reserve personnel, who arrived at the units late last week, are also taking part in the exercise and members of the General Service and Logistics are providing support, ensuring undisrupted communication, airborne early warning, CBRN protection, transport, meals, ordnance replenishment, medical support and proper functioning of materiel.
SAF troops will be conducting exercise activities until November 6, aiming to increase the capability of commands and units for planning and conducting operations, preventative deployment of forces, organizing joint action, cooperation and evaluation of readiness to respond to challenges, risks and threats to the security of the Republic of Serbia.
