Rasina Brigade Day and Timok Brigade Day marked
Military ceremonies to mark the Rasina Brigade Day and the Timok Brigade Day were held today in Kruševac and Zaječar.
Members of the Rasina Brigade held a celebration at "Car Lazar" Barracks in Kruševac in memory of October 19, 1918, when the Serbian Army liberated Kruševac.Members of the Timok Brigade marked the Unit Day at "Nikola Pašić" Barracks in Zaječar in memory of October 19, 1918, when Zaječar was liberated in the First World War.
The holiday was an opportunity for the two brigades to summarize last year’s accomplishments and to present awards and commendations to the most deserving individuals. Reviewing the results achieved, it was pointed out that members of the Rasina and Timok Brigades had carried out all the assigned tasks professionally and competently, thus helping improve the capabilities of the Training Command and the Serbian Armed Forces in general.
