The Ministry of Defence delegation has participated in the 48th Meeting of the Multinational Advisory Group (MAG), the steering body of the Centre for Security Cooperation – RACVIAC. The meeting was held at the headquarters of that organization in Zagreb. On that occasion, Serbia took over the chairmanship of the Multinational Advisory Group for a period of one year. During Serbia’s chairmanship, Colonel Nebojša Svjetlica, Head of the Department for International Military Cooperation will perform the role of the chairperson of the Multinational Advisory Group.
The meeting included the submission of a regular performance report, harmonization of activities included in RACVIAC’s Programme 2023 and a discussion with regard to the election of a new director of RACVIAC.

The Multinational Advisory Board is a steering committee and a decision-making body.

The MAG Chairmanship has been taken over from Romania, which performed that role over the past year. Serbia has been participating in the work of RACVIAC since 2002 and has chaired the Multinational Advisory Group twice so far.
