Rotation of SAF contingent in EUTM RCA
There has been a rotation of the SAF contingent participating in the European Union Training Mission in the Central African Republic.
Our contingent, which will be carrying out its tasks in the AO over the next six months, consists of a staff officer serving as the mission’s Chief Medical Officer and a six-member medical team that will be responsible for providing medical care to the injured and ill mission members and training to the security forces of the Central African Republic.They have replaced their colleagues, doctors and medical technicians, who had successfully executed all their tasks in line with the mission's mandate during their six-month deployment, and demonstrated professionalism and competence of the SAF medical corps members in the best possible way.
The Serbian Armed Forces started participating in EUTM RCA in 2016. By participating in EU military operations, conducted under the Common Security and Defence Policy, members of the Serbian Armed Forces contribute directly to the preservation of global peace and strengthening of our county's foreign political position.
