Communique
The Ministry of Defence hereby states that the claims published on the “Nova rs” portal, that the Artistic Ensemble “Stanislav Binički” left out Kosovo from the composition “To the Heroes of Paštrik” during their performance at the ceremonial promotion of the youngest officers of the Serbian Armed Forces, are false and rather malicious.
However, the truth is that “Nova” portal obviously does not even know what song it is and therefore omitted its title, much less the lyrics of “To the Heroes of Paštrik”, because otherwise they would know that one cannot leave out Kosovo from the song about Kosovo, and that there are several versions of this song created by Milan Gajić.
But the thing that is all too obvious is the maliciousness of “Nova rs” that spreads these malignant claims regarding the Ensemble “Stanislav Binički” and “To the Heroes of Paštrik”, at the same time stating that the very Ensemble performed several songs about the battles for Kosovo at that same promotion ceremony.
And it is not a bit bizarre, but absolutely bizarre that this fabrication serve them to attack the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić, who is preparing for his addres at the General Assembly of the United Nations on Kosovo and Metohija.
