Minister Stefanović Signs Book of Condolence for Queen Elisabeth II



Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović PhD signed the Book of Condolence opened in the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Belgrade following the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elisabeth II.
“These are sad days not only for the British people, but for entire world, which bids farewell to Queen Elisabeth II with the sorrow in the heart. At the same time, despite the feeling of sorrow, people all around the planet feel proud of being contemporaries of such historic figure”, stated Minister Stefanović.

He underlined that the respect which Queen Elisabeth deserved was immeasurable and noted that, as a pillar of her family and society, she was a symbol of an era, reflection of stability, wisdom and courage.

“The great names that make history never die. I extend my heartfelt condolences to His Majesty King Charles III, members of the Royal family, members of the Government and the British people. I share your grief”, Minister Stefanović wrote.
