Soldier Training in the Second Period of Military Service
The barracks “Rastko Nemanjić” in Pančevo is conducting collective training for the soldiers of “June 2022” intake who are serving the second period of their military service in the 72nd Special Operations Brigade.
The training is conducted for the soldiers who were particularly selected and deployed to this elite unit of the Serbian Armed Forces following their successful completion of individual training in the Training Command Centres. They are trained for the realisation of collective tasks in support of the units engaged to carry out special operations, raiding, anti-raiding, counter-insurgent and counter-terrorist activities.In keeping with the training programme, the soldiers are trained in the tactics of special operations units, they improve their physical capabilities and practice shooting from different types of arms used in the brigade, and they are also engaged on the execution of daily tasks.
During the training the soldiers demonstrate extreme motivation and zeal, and desire to join professional personnel of the unit. After the completion of the military service, majority of them applies for selective training, the successful completion of which enables them to start their careers as professional soldiers in the 72nd Special Operations Brigade.
