Minister Stefanović: Arguments of President Vučić are Irrefutable
Statement of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence NebojšaStefanović PhD:
“The address of President AleksandarVučić in the National Assembly on the matter of Kosovo and Metohija and his detailed argumentation of our position are the best and most compelling proof of the correctness of the Republic of Serbia policy in relation to the most important state and national issue.
President Vučić assured all our citizens that the policy on Kosovo and Metohija has been pursued for years consistently, wisely and with the sole aim to protect our state and our people in Kosovo and Metohija. It is being done despite never stronger pressures exerted on Serbia to relinquish its sovereignty not only by the states that have recognised the so-called Kosovo’s independence, but by a portion of national political groups.The strength of arguments which President Vučić uses to pursue our state policy regarding Kosovo and Metohija has never been seen in our parliament and that clearly shows the resolve of state leadership to defend our highest state interest. All attacks against that policy, all the lies and years-long deceptions repeated even in the parliamentary discussion by a part of the opposition, have been disclosed for all times owing to irrefutable arguments presented by President Vučić.
In that way, Serbia yet again got a clear confirmation that our most complex state and national issue is in good hands, and that it is being resolved pursuing the policy whose only interest is the interest of Serbia and its citizens, as the only way to make it successful and to bring peace and benefit to our country and people.
