Training on “Neva” Missile System
The battalions of the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade armed with “Neva” missile systems are conducting collective training of professional members for the execution of combat tasks in line with the use of these units.
This is practice training aimed at maintaining and advancing the capabilities for the engagement within permanently deployed forces for the control and protection of air space of the Republic of Serbia, and execution of defensive air defence operation.During the training, the personnel practices tactical and firing procedures that are part of the preparation and execution of firing at targets in the air, and they test the readiness of technical assets for combat activities and the crews are evaluated according to standardised combat activities. The focus is on practical training of commanding officers and professional soldiers previously assigned to duties in battalions of the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade.
The conduct of training and continuous advancement in the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade ensures that all unit members meet the demanding norms and standards of competence, which is, together with the serviceability of equipment, necessary to maintain the high level of combat readiness for air defence of Serbian Armed Forces, important facilities and areas, against air threats.
