Promotion of voluntary military service in “Dunavsko Popodne” show
The Ministry of Defence Centre for the Local Self-Government of Novi Sad actively promotes voluntary military service and reserve officers’ military education program.
On September 12, Head of the Ministry of Defence Centre for the Local Self-Government of Novi Sad, Lieutenant Colonel Dragan Dimovski, was a guest in the “Dunavsko Popodne” show on Dunavska Television where he talked about the growing interest in voluntary military service under arms among young people.
All interested citizens between the ages of 19 and 30 can apply for voluntary military service under arms and citizens up to the age of 30, who have completed higher education, can apply for reserve officers’ military education program.
Traditionally, voluntary military service starts in March, June, September and December, and the Reserve Officers’ Military Training Course starts in March and September.
All adult citizens of the Republic of Serbia up to the age of 30 can submit an application for voluntary military service to their local Ministry of Defence Centre, via e-government portal and at their local post office branch.
