President Vučić welcomes President Erdoğan



Today, the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces welcomed the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the courtyard of the Palace of Serbia. After the Serbian and Turkish national anthems were played, the two statesmen inspected the Guard of Honour formed by members of the Serbian Armed Forces Guard Battalion.
After the meeting between presidents Vučić and Erdoğan, a plenary session of the two delegations will be held, with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, in attendance.
Prior to that, Minister Stefanović will meet with his Turkish counterpart, Hulusi Akar, to discuss the development of defence cooperation between Serbia and Turkey.
