Army scouts’ summer training
This week, members of the Army Armoured Reconnaissance Battalion are being trained to perform specific tasks in the areas outside their peacetime locations.
It is the final phase of summer training during which scouts practice navigating around water obstacles using standard and improvised vessels, practice camouflage and concealment.Previously, scouts successfully completed the training which included swimming, wrestling, knife throwing, survival techniques and finding food in the nature.
The Armoured Reconnaissance Battalion conducts training throughout the year on different types of terrain and in different weather conditions, thus maintaining the unit's ability to provide intelligence for the Army and the Serbian Armed Forces as a whole.
