Evaluation of soldiers’ training proficiency
The evaluation of soldiers’ (June 2022 class) individual specialist skills has been completed at the SAF training centre today, following a six-week training phase.
For the last six weeks, soldiers have been trained for their respective specialties. They have learned how to carry out combat actions as part of crews and teams and perform their branch/service-specific assignments.During the two-day specialist skills assessment, soldiers carried out tactical and fire missions demonstrating the acquired knowledge and skills in using personal and collective weapons, combat assets and military equipment. Soldiers have achieved very good and excellent exam results, thus confirming the commitment of officers commanding and instructors, the quality of training, and the soldiers’ great motivation for performing military service under arms.
Soldiers will now be referred to SAF units to receive collective training over the next three months until the end of their military service, engaging actively in the execution of daily tasks in their units alongside professional members.
