98th Air Brigade’s aircraft technicians undergo training

Routine training for the 98th Air Brigade squadrons’ aircraft maintenance specialists is underway at the "Morava" military airfield in Lađevci.
Training in these units is conducted daily, as part of regular aerial activities and during the “technical day”, given that aircraft technicians’ excellent skills and competence are of vital importance for getting the aircraft ready and available for combat use at a moment’s notice. In addition to ensuring the aircraft’s airworthiness, this is also a way to improve the unit members’ skills in performing maintenance checks of aircraft and helicopters, engines, radio-navigation equipment and weapons.

Special attention is given to additional training of young NCOs who were assigned to the unit after successfully completing the Air Force and Air Defence NCO Course. The aim is to provide them with a high degree of skill in the shortest possible time for maintaining the aircraft they are responsible for.
Aircraft technicians training is just one segment of a complex training process in the 98th Air Brigade, which creates necessary conditions for this unit to perform its specific task.
