Soldiers undergo telecommunications training in Signal Brigade
After successfully completing their individual training in Training Command Centres, some of the soldiers who have been performing their military service in telecommunication corps as of March this year, continue their training in Signal Brigade units.
In this brigade, soldiers are trained as radio teletype operators, radio telephone operators and radio relay operators. They also learn how to carry out collective tasks in SAF signal units.
The training is carried out in special-purpose rooms equipped with telecommunication equipment and in the field. It focuses on setting up elements of telecommunication stations and establishing and checking the quality of communications in predetermined radio networks. In addition to the specialized telecommunications training, the soldiers also do some tactical, fire, engineering and medical training.
Since many of them will become professional soldiers, the experience they gain while performing their military service in the Signal Brigade will be of great use to them in their future jobs which entail ensuring the continuity of communications and information in the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.
