Future AF and AD non-commissioned officers undergo field training
Field training for the third class of the Air Force and Air Defence NCO Course participants is underway at the “Peskovi” training area near Požarevac.
The course participants are civilian candidates who met all competition requirements in February this year and successfully completed the first training module for the SAF non-commissioned officers.During their training at “Peskovi”, they acquire practical knowledge and skills for performing initial NCO duties and for commanding a group, crew and team. In order to learn this, they undergo leadership, military topography, tactical and weapons training.
After the field training, the course participants will be referred to the Air Force and Air Defence Training Centre for specialist training. There, they will receive practical training in handling branch and service-specific weapons, followed by internship in SAF units until the end of the course.
Civilian candidates’ training for Air Force and Air Defence non-commissioned officers lasts for six month and consists of four modules, and the candidates who successfully complete it will be promoted to the rank of sergeant and become members of the Serbian Armed Forces.
