Class of March 2022 undergoes training with T-72 MS tanks
After completing the first training period, soldiers performing their military service as of March this year, have been assigned to T-72M Tank Battalion where they are being trained to operate this unit’s modern combat assets.
Soldiers serving in armoured units undergo this specialist training in order to learn how to use the T-72MS tank in combat and carry out anti-tank engagement in Army operations.During the training, soldiers acquire knowledge about the capabilities and characteristics of T-72MS tanks and about the use and maintenance of their systems and subsystems. They also undergo practical training with this combat vehicle. The focus is on learning to drive the tank safely on different terrains and in different weather conditions and to use the tank weapons effectively.
Besides doing this training, the soldiers are also involved in the unit’s regular activities and perform assigned tasks together with the professional members of the T-72M Tank Battalion.
The soldiers are extremely satisfied with the fact that they can train with the most modern tanks in the Serbian Armed Forces, which are among the best in the world in their class, and show interest in becoming professional soldiers in this Army unit, for which they can already apply.
