Scouts train to navigate around submerged obstacles
The Army scouts are being trained to navigate around submerged obstacles using regular and improvised vessels on rivers, canals and lakes in the areas outside peacetime locations.

In this segment of the training, new unit members are being taught to build vessels from improvised materials, from choosing the material for the construction of a raft and calculating the load, to the construction of the vessel itself, which will enable the crew to complete the mission successfully without revealing the position of the unit.
During the training, the scouts also practice camouflage, patrolling, covering tracks, carrying out a diversion, and collecting intelligence about the enemy and the situation in the area using modern observation devices.
