Minister Stefanović invites young people to apply for scholarships
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, has invited young people to apply for students’ scholarships granted by the Ministry of Defence. According to him, the students would receive 40,000 to 50,000 dinars in scholarships per month, and this is one more way to show how firmly we believe in Serbia’s youth, in their knowledge and skills.
“Not only do we believe in young people, but we also want to provide them with a tangible support. I invite them to apply for our scholarship competition, thus securing a significant financial aid for themselves, but also a secure job after graduation. We want to invest in young people in Serbia, because it is for them that we are building a modern and strong military, so that Serbia’s youth can have the best possible future," said Minister Stefanović.He specified that the Ministry of Defence awards 44 scholarships for students of electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical and technological engineering, mathematics, pharmacy, transport and traffic engineering and other studies. According to him, after graduation and necessary training, 17 of them will become officers of the Serbian Armed Forces assigned to duties throughout Serbia, whereas 18 will get a job at the Military Technical Institute in Belgrade and the Technical Overhaul Institute in Kragujevac.
