Visit to Serbian Armed Forces Units in Kruševac Garrison
Today, Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Milan Mojsilović, accompanied by his closest associates, visited units of the Serbian Armed Forces located in Kruševac.
On that occasion, General Mojsilović reviewed the state, site, organisation of life and work and achieved capabilities of the units of the Army and Training Command located in this garrison, and he familiarised the command cadre with the plans for the upcoming period and gave guidelines for further enhancement of operational and functional capabilities.
During the tour, the Chief of General Staff was briefed about the training capacities and modern devices, equipment and systems in use of CBRN units of the Serbian Armed Forces, while the most responsible superior officers of the Army and Training Command briefed about the degree of execution of key tasks.
Today, General Mojsilović also met the Mayor of the town of Kruševac Jasmina Palurović, with whom he talked about the hitherto cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and bodies of local self-government, and current situation in that part of Rasina administrative county. At the meeting, it was assessed that the relations between the town of Kruševac and Serbian Armed Forces are at a very high level, and it was underlined that the Serbian Armed Forces are ready whenever it is required to provide assistance and support to the citizens of Kruševac, and in other parts of the country, which has been demonstrated numerous times in the previous period.
During the visit to the units in Kruševac, the Chief of General Staff was accompanied by Head of Operations Directorate (J-3) Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović, Deputy Army Commander Major General Slađan Stamenković, Head of Logistics Directorate (J-4) Major General Srđan Petković and Head of Training Command Staff Brigadier General Muharem Fazlić.
