Tactical Exercise of Combat Teams from 63rd Parachute Brigade
This week, together with Air Force and Air Defence units, members of 63rd Parachute Brigade have executed tactical exercise on locations outside the area of the unit’s base.
The exercise activities were executed with the view of checking the readiness and competence of a part of Serbian Armed Forces for the execution of assault activities against elements of enemy combat formation, and of aerial provision of supplies to the units.
The execution of the content of special actions tactics included special parachute and helicopter aerial landing, as well as cargo landing from an aeroplane which is vital for the execution of combat actions deep behind enemy operational and strategic lines.
The results of the exercises have shown that the exercising units are fully capable for the execution of tasks in special forces operations, and the realisation of this training has further advanced the capability, synergy and cooperation of members of 63rd Parachute Brigade with the Air Force and Air Defence.
