Minister Stefanović: I have exposed all the lies so far, I will continue doing so even more powerfully
Statement by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD:
“Criminal and political clans have spread lies and fabrications about me in public countless times, and I have exposed those lies easily, putting forward strong arguments. Verdicts have also been passed against those who falsely accused me of working illegally and being involved in crime. So far, I have exposed each of these lies, personally or in court, believing that it is the only right way to defend myself, my family and my country, which I loyally serve. Since they continue to attack me with downright lies, I will continue to fight back with nothing but the truth, as I have done so far.
I will continue to do so even more powerfully, because the attacks and lies come from those who have been accused of serious crimes, which they admitted in court proceedings and for which they will receive a harsh sentence. In an effort to protect all the true values of my country and my family, I have decided to respond to the new pack of lies spread by defendant Hrkalović and a part of the media machinery owned by Veljko Belivuk's closest associates.
In the next 48 hours, I will respond to all the lies about me, using only the truth and arguments, as I have done so far. The thing that scares them is the truth, so they use the most vile slander and monstrous lies, which is characteristic of those who are guilty and who are trying to lessen their guilt and shift it on someone else. That will not work!"
