Members of Hungarian Armed Forces undergo training at CBRN Centre
Members of the Hungarian Armed Forces have started their five-day training with real toxic chemicals at the SAF CBRN Centre.
The training for Hungarian officers, NCOs and professional soldiers serving in the 93rd CBRN Defence Battalion is being conducted at the "Ravnjak" training ground in Kruševac.
The training aims to improve their knowledge of toxic chemicals and occupational safety measures and provide practical training for personnel who work with these toxic substances.
The training program includes activities such as the reconnaissance of contaminated soil and facilities performed by CBRN patrols, detection of chemical agents and decontamination of weapons and equipment, and providing medical assistance to persons who have come in contact with toxic chemicals.
The training organized for members of foreign armed forces, which has been conducted at the CBRN Centre since 2016, is an international confirmation of high-quality training conducted in SAF units and it contributes to the development of overall bilateral relations with partner countries.
