Bačka Brigade conducts Exercise “Fire Obstacle 2022”
This week, the Bačka Brigade Command has conducted Exercise "Fire Obstacle 2022" at the SAF Simulation Training Centre, Belgrade.
This computer-assisted exercise was designed to enhance the brigade command’s capability to plan, organize and conduct a defence operation.By conducting training activities for several days, officers and NCOs are training to efficiently implement staff procedures in the process of making military decisions. Their knowledge of the principles of engagement of territorial forces in operations is also being assessed, as well as joint action with the Army, Air Force and Air Defence, and cooperation with Gendarmery, Red Cross and other civilian actors.
Computer-assisted exercises are an important form of practical training for SAF commands. Such exercises provide an opportunity for staff officers and commands to improve their skills in planning and conducting combat operations, using the minimum amount of material resources.
