This year’s Regatta was held on the Sava Lake and the Sava River in Belgrade. "Zoki's Regatta" is held in honour of the passionate sailor, Major Pilot Zoran Radosavljević, a member of the Yugoslav Army’s elite 127th Fighter Squadron, who died heroically on March 26, 1999, defending his homeland during the NATO aggression.
This year’s sailing event has gathered a large number of competitors, members of the Serbian Sailing Association, and numerous friends who keep alive the memory of the hero of our country’s defence.
The Optimist class, consisting of the youngest sailors under the age of 14, competed on the Sava Lake and more experienced sailors in the ILCA4, ILCA6, Micro and Cruiser classes competed on the Sava River, between Ada Međica and the new railway bridge.
