Minister Stefanović: We must not forget our glorious ancestors who were the epitomes of courage and patriotism



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, has reminded that today we remember the glorious battle of Čegar and Stevan Sinđelić, the fearless hero whose love for the homeland was so strong that he sacrificed his own life for it.
  "Heroic sacrifice and love for the homeland were eternalized in Ćele-Kula, a tower built out of the skulls of 952 Serbian heroes. This testimony of heroism and love for freedom is a unique monument in the whole world. It is a reminder, but also a warning to all future generations. A reminder that we must not forget our glorious ancestors, who were the epitomes of great courage and patriotism," wrote Minister Stefanović in his Facebook post.

According to Minister Stefanović, it is a constant reminder that we must build a peaceful future and strengthen our country, so that such suffering would never happen again.

“May the memory of our heroes live forever!”,  wrote Minister Stefanović.
