Study visit from North Macedonian delegation
Representatives of the Directorate for European Integration and Project Management and the International Military Cooperation Department, Defence Policy Sector, Ministry of Defence, have held a meeting with an interdepartmental delegation from the Republic of North Macedonia at the Guards Club in Topičider.
The meeting was organized as part of a study visit aimed at acquainting representatives of Macedonian institutions responsible for foreign, security and defence policy with Serbia’s experience with the EU accession negotiations, ahead of the anticipated opening of accession negotiations with the Republic of Northern Macedonia.
The meeting discussed topics such as the role of the Ministry of Defence in the EU integration process and the contribution of the Republic of Serbia to the EU Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP).
According to Head of the Directorate for European Integration and Project Management, Colonel Robert Kordik, meetings like this continue the practice of mutual support and cooperation and confirm the recognition of the importance of bilateral cooperation with the Republic of North Macedonia.
The delegation from the Republic of North Macedonia included representatives of the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Finance, and the Government Secretariat for European Affairs.
