Minister Stefanović congratulates Bishop Dositej on his appointment as Military Bishop
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, has congratulated Bishop Dositej of Hilandar on his appointment as the Bishop of Lipljan, Vicar Bishop of the Serbian Patriarch and Military Bishop.
"Based on your experience as an archimandrite in the Royal Laura of the Hilandar Monastery and as the abbot of the Ćelije Monastery, I firmly believe that the Serbian Armed Forces’ religious service has received a wise pastor and a bishop it deserves. I am especially pleased that our armed forces have got a bishop with military experience, because I believe that it will help you fully understand the difficult military profession and provide spiritual support for our soldiers", wrote Minister Stefanović in his Facebook post.The Minister is sincerely looking forward to future cooperation, and hopes that the tradition of cultivating good relations and joint efforts to preserve the common values of freedom and love of people and homeland will be continued.
"Accept my warmest congratulations. Wishing you good health and profound wisdom in managing the service entrusted to you!", wrote Minister Stefanović.
