250th Missile Brigade trains using “Kub” missile systems
Personnel serving in the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade Battalions armed with low-to-medium altitude “Kub” missile systems, are undergoing training.
The training includes operating and performing basic maintenance of the systems. According to the training program, the focus in this period is on practicing tactical actions.Training in operating the ”Kub” air defence system includes a series of actions performed by the crews, such as taking up the position, shifting the self-propelled missile battery into the state of combat readiness, aerial targets acquisition and tracking and preparation for fire. In order to achieve top firing grades and successfully complete the assigned tasks, missile units need to undergo regular drills according to defined standards and norms.
The missile system maintenance training is an important factor in missile units. It includes setting the surveillance and guidance radar station and self-propelled launchers, as well as performing maintenance of the missiles in the missile-technical battery.This and other forms of continuous training for individuals and crews, ensure a high-level of competence and readiness of the 250th Missile Brigade for engagement as part of the constantly engaged forces responsible for the control and protection of Serbia’s airspace and launching a defensive air defence operation.
