Legal Service Day marked
Members of the Legal Service have marked their Service Day today in the Military Club in Vranje. The Legal Service Day has been traditionally marked since May 10, 1864, when the first Code of Military Justice was passed in Serbia.
Secretary of the Ministry of Defence Milica Ćatić, addressed the audience, emphasizing the continuous development of the Legal Service and its significant contribution to the operational capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces. She also highlighted that young staff were the future of the Legal Service at the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.
In addition to numerous members of the Serbian Armed Forces’ Legal Service, Commander of the Fourth Army Brigade, Brigadier General Novica Petrović, and guests from other organizational units of the Ministry of Defence attended the ceremony.
The Fourth Brigade, which was the host, and “Yumco a.d.” company, represented by General Zoran Lubura (retd), gave a special contribution to the ceremony.
As part of the celebration, members of the Serbian Armed Forces’ Legal Service and guests also visited the Prohor Pčinjski Monastery.
