Visit from Commander of Hellenic Special Warfare Command
Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, had talks in Belgrade today with Commander of the Special Warfare Command of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Tsitsikostas, as part of the latter’s official visit to the Republic of Serbia.
The meeting at the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff discussed the cooperation between the special operations units of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Hellenic Armed Forces, as well as possibilities for its further promotion.
During the conversation, it was estimated that there was a high-level cooperation between the Serbian and Hellenic special operations forces, primarily in the field of joint exercises, and it was confirmed that there was a strong commitment to develop it further, in the interest of both parties.
Lieutenant General Georgios Tsitsikostas visited today the Pančevo-based 72nd Special Operations Brigade where he was presented with this SAF unit’s specific role, tasks and training facilities.
