Victory Day Gun Salute on Kalemegdan Fortress



Today, upon the order of President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić, members of the Serbian Armed Forces Guard fired a gun salute from the Sava Terrace on Kalemegdan Fortress, in observance of 9th May – Day of Victory over Fascism.
  During the gun salute, members of the Guard fired ten rounds from six artillery pieces.
 
The gun salute was preceded by the raising of the flag and playing the anthem of the Republic of Serbia, which was followed by the reading of President Vučić’s order on the execution of the gun salute.
  The activity was attended by Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Guard Brigadier General Nikola Dejanović.
