Minister Stefanović Visited Members of River Flotilla
Today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović PhD visited members of River Flotilla who are on duty shift of river units at anchorage “Ušće” during Easter holidays. On that occasion he expressed his gratitude for everything that they are doing night and day for Serbia.
At the beginning of the visit, River Flotilla Commander Navy Captain Ljubiša Marković informed the minister about the tasks of on duty shift. The briefing was followed by a demonstration of work of a river patrol boat crew in case of a need for engagement.
Immense love for military calling and the fatherland, the effort they make, competence and readiness of our members to react immediately when it is required, represent a clear message to our citizens that they can be at peace, because the Serbian Armed Forces keep them safe in the sky, on the land and water – Minister Stefanović stated.
